Hey all, I was super duper excited when I got this SK II whitening source clear lotion as I ran out of my toner. What the website says it should do is:

- to promote even skin texture
- reduce dullness and dryness
- help improves skin tone problems by removing dead skin cells

It comes in an easily dispensed pump bottle. One pump in enough for my entire face and neck. When I first use this, I used two pumps and my face turned so oily when I wake up in the morning! Small pimples started to show their shy red faces on my cheeks as well! *nightmarish mode* Generally, I do not have acne or pimples on my skin of course with the exception to exams and stress and so on. I knew I must have done something not quite right this time.

So, I toned down to a pump day and night and this products works fantastic. It is still to early to say if it is effective in delivering the results it promised above as I only used it for about two weeks. But, fret not; I can already see my skin becomes brighter. YEAAAYYY!!! So, I will keep using this and I heard good reviews on the facial treatment clear lotion as well. Maybe will try that out and compare with this one. However, I am not quite sure if it is executing its "toner-ish" responsibility quite well because when I wash my face after makeup and use the treatment essence with a cotton pad, I could see my makeup residue on the pad. Not with this toner. Maybe my understanding of what a toner should do is quite vague but no worries; I shall try the clear lotion and let you beautifuls know okay ;)

p/s: I do want to know how this works on oily and acne prone skin. Pretty please leave a comment below :)

SK II Beauty Diary Deux

Hello, its me again with the updates on my about-20-days-post-SK II experience. I remember having a sample of the essence from an SK II counter a while ago to try out this product before splurging on them. I mean, we all know SKII products costs more than a bomb! I've decided to give it a shot. So, I patted it on my face (and remember not being too fond of the smell). In about a week I could already see the difference. My skin tone is waaaaayyyy even and my complexion just becomes sooo much better! I finished the tester bottle and that lasted me 2 weeks (with both day and night application). I am completely thrilled with the results and I think I shall continue to use this skincare range. As we speak, my SKII whitening source clear lotion is on the way! *excited* ;)

So, my simple tips to you beautifuls out there who wish to try this miracle product, go to the nearest SKII counter and go through the skin test (or whatever they call it), so that you know which products your skin require. However, if you are unlucky (like moi), say the skin test machine broke down, etc; just request a sample of the treatment essence. You can't go wrong with that one. Try that and I guess the results depends on your skin type. You should be able to see the results when your tester ran out *fingers crossed*.

Or, you can check out various blogshops that sells the sample/ tester size of the SK II products. But the risk of the products being fakes should be taken into consideration as well. And please, pretty pretty please, if you are aware of the un-authenticity of the product, DO NOT BUY THEM! You don't want some toxics bottled in SK II bottles and labeled as SK II products on your skin.

Reuse, Recycle and Restyle? (The 3R Fashion Project)

My darling beautifuls, I have a proposition to make. *clear throats* I know as many of us girls out there (and guys as well), we always have that piece of clothes in the back of our wardrobe far far away, beyond our reach; that we either:

A. worn once or twice

or

B. worn in the dressing room for trying purposes only

or

C. new, unwrapped, with tags still attached

or

D. forgot their existence completely.

and most often than not,

E. ALL OF THE ABOVE.

Myself included so do not hide under your pillows. Let's find a solution to this issue. Shall I name this project the *drumroll* tum ta da tum....

"THE 3R FASHION PROJECT"

So, how exactly does this works? Follow these easy steps. ;D

Step 1: Brace yourself and explore every inch there is in your wardrobe to find pieces of clothes, accessories, shoes etc that had been there but never actually been touched.

Step 2: Put them on and style them the way you like it

Step 3: Take a photo of yourself if you like

Step 4: Share it in all the social networks that you have with #3RFP

Hello Beautifuls! This post it just to share with you that I had given in to the brand power of what was named as the greatest skincare miracle; SK II. So, I am going to share with you my personal experience and would like to welcome all of you to embark in this journey with me. ;)

*If my skin does not turn out the way she does, I am going to the products to decompose my broken heart. Dramatic. I know.

For those of you who had been using this products or want to try it out, leave comments below so we could be each others "beauty angels". Teehee. Its cheezy I know but hey, we are from venus aren't we not. We are supposed to be the cheezy one. (Whoever doesn't get the venus joke, it refers to this book:

The Face Shop Aqua Tinted BB Cream

O.M.G! That was the first thing I said upon the application of this amazing product on my face. It is almost too good to be true! Let's start with first impression. I was a bit skeptical at first to try this product. Not because of anything but because erm,... let's just say because I was skeptical. I tried all The Face Shop's BB cream and liked this one the most. It is purrr-fect for my skins due to the following reasons:

1. The luminosity of this product is almost like a miracle. It gives me a really healthy glow on my skin and does not look like makeup at all!

2. The coverage can be made into medium coverage from sheer and the best part is, even with extra coating, the BB does not cake and it is still very luminous.

3. The smell of this BB cream is pleasant. It reminds me of my Dior foundation. And it its not overwhelming.

4. I stays on pretty well even without powder and setting spray.

5. Even though it puts a small hole in my wallet, it is worth it because the amount needed to cover the whole face is about pea-sized. So, be happy!

However, a small reminder for beautifuls out there who want full coverage with their BB cream, this may not be the product you are looking for. You can get the HD BB cream from Face Shop and apply until you reach the coverage you desired. Then, top it off with this aqua BB for luminosity. Easy peasy.

Why do I still smell skepticism coming my way! Okay, I am not convincing enough so far, you say?
How about this: I do not have flawless skin nor glowing, healthy looking complexion but on various occasions I used this BB cream and went out, I do see people just staring and me (in a good way) and some compliments in the air. *no intention to be conceited nor vain*

So, what are we waiting for?! Grab your car keys, and your husbands/fiances/boyfriends/parents to the nearest Face Shop and grab this baby!
