Chanel Le Blanc Loose Powder

picture's courtesy of Bonboncosmetics.com

Its the first review by Be.Ay.You.Ti.Ful! The Chanel Le Blanc fresh glow brightening loose powder is one of the loose powder by Chanel. What do I mean by "one of"? Chanel loose powder comes in so many different range (beige with shimmer, beige without shimmer, pure white etc). The one that I want to talk about is the pink loose powder with micro glitters in it. It is like fairy dusts and it give gorgeous finish to the skin.

This powder is formulated to give a pinkish glow to the skin with subtle shimmer. It comes in a packaging of 8g/ 0.28oz which is slightly lesser than the normal Chanel loose powder. Also, this one is slightly expensive as compared to the others as it is a new product. It is priced at RM 162 here in Malaysia but totally worth every penny.

Now, the downside of it is that; I have a pretty yellow undertone and this product made my skin sort of pinkish. It makes my face looks like it belongs to someone else. I would recommend the application of this product to be very subtle and to concentrate only on the cheek, forehead and the bridge of the nose areas to give glow.

Extra tips: To appear to have a very healthy, glowing skin; follow the application of Chanel loose powder with a setting spray.

Me.

Mother's Day DIY Spa Treat

Hello beautifuls!

HAPPY MOTHERS DAAAAYYYY!!!

So, on this special occasion, why not we pamper our mothers with a spa treatment? Forget all those expensive, fancy spas; its DIY Spa Time! This head to toe Mother's Day special will definitely be a wonderful experience for our beloved mothers and show them our appreciation even more than just splurging on beauticians.

Hair and scalp care

Mix half avocado, honey, and olive oil until a paste-like consistency is formed. Massage on damp hair and let the mask sit for 15 minutes. Rinse and shampoo as usual.

This mixture will leave hair soft and silky. But be thrift with the olive oil as you wouldn't want your mum to be walking around with oily scalp! Oooppss.

Facial treatment

Squeeze half a lemon, honey, yougurt and a bit of sodium bicarbonate. Add sea salt (or sugar) for scrub if desired. Massage onto the face with a circular motion focusing on the area with prominent blackheads.

Lemon and sodium bicarbonate has natural whitening essence and honey softens the skin

Lip scrub

Mix sugar, cocoa/shea butter and scrub the lips to chip off the dead and dry skins. If no cocoa or shea butter available; the normal butter, margerine or olive oil can also be excellent substitutes!

Relaxing bath

Pop in your homemade bath bombs and bubble bar. Sprinkle her favorite flower in the bubbles and let your mother enjoy the soothing scents and relax. *short commercials* anyone wishes to order home made bath bombs or bath truffles email us at be.ay.you.ti.ful@gmail.com or just leave a comment below. Thanks!

Massage

Blend cucumber, honey, olive oil, and sea salt to form paste and softly massage onto the body focusing on the areas like shoulders, back, calf, thighs, knees and elbows. These will help soothe muscle ache and restore the moisture in these dry areas. The paste can either be rinsed off or wiped.

Foot massage

Soak the feet into a basin of water, salt and aloe vera for about 5 mins. Follow that with a massage with her favorite essential oils such as lavender oil.

There you go folks, a very simple yet meaningful home spa you can do for your mothers on this Mother's Day. End the spa treatment with a kiss , a big hug and a bouquet of thank you for all her sacrifices and love all these while. Also, these spa treat will not only be valid on Mother's Day only but all year round when you want to surprise your mother or when thank you is too simple for what she had done.

Love,
Me.
